The grapes for this wine come from vineyards in Cerreto Guidi at an altitude of 200 metres above sea level, in the western part of Chianti. The grapes are grown on calcareous soils and are trained to the Guyot system.

Tasting Notes: This wine has bright cherry fruit aromas combined with hints of chocolate and balsamic vinegar. On the palate, the fruit is supported by fine-grain tannins. The finish is savoury with a hint of minerality.
